Dreams sometimes have the uncanny ability to linger in our thoughts for days after they occur, subtly altering our mood, thrusting upon us seemingly random and inexplicable, yet powerful emotions based on situations that never occurred in reality.

Endlessly wandering the wasteland of sleep at night, I will, every once in a while happen upon an oasis of emotions and unexpected beauty in a dream.  I then proceed to spend much of the following day reminiscing about my nighttime affair, wondering what could have triggered it.

I had such dream last night, and when I awoke, the emotions fresh in my mind, a strong urge to document the dream lest I forget it over overcame me, yet I resisted because I knew to do so would be doing a disservice to the experience - words are often sadly lacking in their ability to expose such delicacy.  Perhaps in the future I will attempt to put into words the sort of magic that occurs in my mind at night.

Instead, I'd like to leave whoever reads this with a parting quote, taken from a dying stranger: "Nothing we have is worth hurting anyone else for. It's all fleeting people. Stop seeing race, colour, sex, religion, etc...They are all just people, and if you try to love them you won't lose anything."

Goodnight Dreamers.
